This reminds me alot of where I used to live in Reno, NV (USA) there was a mall right across the street and the air was so clear you could see all the way to mountains covered in snow that surround the city. I got many good cloud shots in that city. :)

shot exactly outside the parking lot of a wide mall. though the lights made me feel very lonely somehow.

It's funny how different people can have almost the same thought. I've felt that way in the place I described, though it probably had much more to do with what was going on in those years.
